Addressing Acne and Uneven Skin Texture for Smoother-Looking Skin

This client was concerned about recurring acne and acne scars across the face, along with uneven skin texture and a dull-looking complexion. The goal was to achieve smoother, clearer-looking skin with a more radiant appearance. The treatment plan included subcision, a mixed chemical peel, Dermapen microneedling, exosomes, and isotretinoin.

Subcision was used to address uneven texture caused by depressed acne scars, while the mixed peel and Dermapen were incorporated to help improve overall skin texture and condition. Isotretinoin was also used to help reduce sebum production and manage recurring acne. Multiple treatments were combined according to the client’s individual skin concerns.

Over the course of treatment, the acne and acne scars became less noticeable, while the overall skin texture appeared smoother and more refined, creating a clearer and brighter appearance even without makeup. The doctor carefully assessed the condition of the acne, the type and depth of the acne scars, and the overall skin condition when planning the treatment.
