What is JUVGEN?

JUVGEN Autologous Dermal Regeneration Therapy is a patented Korean aesthetic medical technique. Using ultra-fine needles, medical-grade carbon dioxide gas and hyaluronic acid are repeatedly injected into the dermis of depressed areas. This stimulates the production of abundant collagen fiber tissue, creating new skin and raising the depressions.

Possible side effects / risks Temporary swelling and bruising may occur, typically resolving within a few days to two weeks. Rarely, allergic reactions or pustular acne may develop.
Pain Some pain may occur during injection, and mild soreness may persist for several days. If you are sensitive to pain, consult your physician.

Alcohol/Work out Avoid alcohol, sauna, and intense exercise for several days after treatment.

If needed, hyaluronidase can be used for correction within 2 weeks post-treatment.
Contraindications Not suitable for individuals with bleeding disorders, those who are pregnant or may be pregnant, those with a history of allergic reactions to hyaluronic acid or anesthesia, those with local infections, keloid tendencies, or skin diseases.

Is anesthesia available?
We provide numbing cream. It will be applied about 30 minutes before the procedure begins, so even those who feel anxious can undergo the treatment with peace of mind.
How many sessions and at what intervals are recommended?
For younger patients or those with mild symptoms, a single treatment may be sufficient for noticeable improvement.
For more severe cases, we may recommend around three sessions.
The usual interval is once every 2–3 months, but the exact plan will be proposed after examining your skin and symptoms during the consultation.
How long do the effects last?
The collagen tissue generated by the treatment becomes part of your own skin tissue and is essentially permanent.
However, natural aging cannot be avoided, so some patients choose additional treatments after several years for maintenance.
How long is the downtime?
Redness or swelling may occur at the injection site after the procedure, which is a normal reaction. The severity varies from person to person, but it generally subsides within 2–3 weeks.
Will it cause lumps?
Since Juvezen stimulates collagen production, the tissue may temporarily feel firm during the regeneration process.
This is a natural response, similar to how an injury area may feel firm while healing.
For several months after the procedure, you may feel a firmness resembling a lump, but it will naturally improve over time.
