In the incision method, a part or the entire length of the eyelid skin is incised, and the orbital septum is also cut.
The edge of the orbital septum is then sutured to the underside of the skin, and the skin is carefully stitched to create the double eyelid.
The buried suture method does not involve cutting the skin and uses threads to secure the eyelid, allowing for the advantage of reversibility.
Additionally, at our clinic, we use specialized techniques and patented ultra-fine surgical threads, making it more durable compared to the standard buried suture method.
However, depending on the condition of your eyelids, habitual tendencies, or desired crease line, there may be cases where it is prone to reversal or results may look unnatural.

The surgeon will confirm your desired eyelid shape, refine it through simulations, and perform marking. Once you're satisfied, we will proceed to prepare for the procedure.
The area will be disinfected, followed by eye drop anesthesia and local anesthesia. To minimize discomfort, anesthesia is administered slowly. Optional laughing gas anesthesia is also available.
The double eyelid line will be created according to the pre-surgery design. The procedure takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes.

I previously underwent a suture method procedure. Can I still undergo treatment?
Yes, it is possible. You can undergo the incisional method according to your desired line. If necessary, the sutures from the suture method will be removed during the procedure.
How long does it take for the scar to disappear?
The scar will be visible for about a month after surgery. It can take up to six months for the scar to completely heal, depending on the individual.
Can I shower or take a bath immediately after surgery?
Yes, you can. However, please avoid getting the wound wet for the first three days after surgery.
Is it possible to reverse the procedure even with the incisional method?
Unlike the suture method, it is difficult to reverse the incisional method. Therefore, thorough counseling will be conducted to ensure there is no misunderstanding.
