Vertical Lift

Lifts cheeks vertically and eliminates nasolabial folds

  • Eliminates long face by shortening mid-face
  • Improvement of nasolabial folds and nasolabial folds
  • Lifts sagging skin and makes you look younger

Vertical Lift

The vertical lift is a cutting-edge thread lift treatment that vertically lifts sagging skin from the cheeks to around the nasolabial folds.
The goal is to lift the volume and loose skin in the midface from the root, restoring a youthful contour and natural three-dimensionality.
In addition, by lifting the midface vertically, it is also effective in reducing the appearance of an elongated face,
and simultaneously improves shadows that cause an aging appearance, such as nasolabial folds and nasolabial folds.

Recommended for the following people

  • Those who want to shorten the mid-face area to improve the appearance of a long face

  • Those who are concerned about looking older due to sagging cheeks

  • Those with deeper nasolabial folds and sinus lines

  • Those who want to lift their face in a natural way without surgery

POINT1

Use of High-Durability Threads

At LIVELY CLINIC, we use carefully selected threads among many options to achieve high durability and effectiveness.
Our clinic uses absorbable threads.

LIVELY Basic Lift

Features spiral cogs that hold the skin in all directions at 360 degrees. Extremely durable, resistant to breakage, and provides a powerful lifting effect and improvement of sagging facial lines, lasting for about 18–24 months.

LIVELY MAX Lift

Characterized by fine and flexible threads with rounded cog tips. The threads dissolve slowly, providing long-term lifting effects, lasting for about 18–24 months.

POINT2

Minimally Invasive Techniques to Reduce Downtime

The downtime of thread lifts is primarily determined by three factors. At LIVELY CLINIC, we pay the utmost attention to these three factors during procedures to minimize downtime.

1
Lifting Strength

The greater the lifting extent, the longer the downtime. Additionally, the design of the procedure can also prolong downtime.
At LIVELY CLINIC, we achieve shorter downtimes by performing procedures with the most efficient lifting techniques and precise designs that reduce downtime.

2
Layer for Anesthesia Injection

Downtime varies significantly depending on the skin layer where anesthesia is injected. Anesthesia is applied to the same layer where the threads are inserted (deep subcutaneous fat layer to the SMAS layer), but if the layer is misjudged, it can result in excessive swelling or pain. Additionally, insufficient anesthesia effect may require larger amounts of injection, leading to further swelling and pain.

3
Layer for Thread Insertion

Downtime also changes depending on the skin layer where the threads are inserted. If threads are inserted into a shallow layer of the skin, it can cause pulling, unnatural results, and prolonged downtime. Conversely, inserting threads too deeply may result in reduced lifting effectiveness.

POINT3

Commitment to Anesthesia for Pain Reduction

We prioritize anesthesia with minimal pain, ensuring a comfortable experience even for those sensitive to discomfort.
At LIVELY CLINIC, we mix a medication called Meylon with the local anesthetic to balance it with the body's pH level, reducing the pain during injection.
Additionally, we use ultra-thin needles and target areas less sensitive to pain, achieving procedures that minimize discomfort as much as possible.

Mid-face vertical lift procedure

In a vertical lift, four medical threads (dissolvable threads) are inserted through the skin near the temples and positioned in an S-shaped curve that branches off over the cheekbone.

This S-shaped trajectory is key:
01 Instead of pulling in a straight line,
02 the cheekbone acts as a fulcrum,
03 the nasolabial folds are lifted vertically at a natural angle.

The greatest feature of a vertical lift is that it accurately targets the nasolabial folds and eliminates any differences in height, making the nasolabial folds appear shallower.

Conventional thread lifts pull horizontally, raising concerns that the midface may become flattened or that the outer edges may appear pulled.

With a vertical lift, the entire cheek is lifted upward while maintaining a plump, three-dimensional appearance, resulting in a more natural, youthful finish.
