Thread Lift

The Thread Lift is a treatment that lifts sagging skin by inserting dissolvable threads under the skin. As it is a non-surgical procedure, it carries minimal risks and downtime, making it popular among a wide range of age groups for rejuvenation and facial contouring.
The threads have barbs that hook onto the tissues under the skin, lifting sagging areas and improving wrinkles and facial lines. Additionally, the inserted threads stimulate collagen and elastin production, enhancing skin firmness and elasticity, and providing a beautifying effect.
Furthermore, the collagen generated around the threads supports the skin, ensuring that the lifting and sagging prevention effects continue even after the threads dissolve.

Recommended for the following people

  • Those with sagging facial lines or blurred contours

  • Those who feel their cheeks have started to droop

  • Those seeking immediate effects after treatment

  • Those looking to prevent sagging

  • Those who want radiant and firm skin

POINT1

Use of High-Durability Threads

At LIVELY CLINIC, we use carefully selected threads among many options to achieve high durability and effectiveness.
Our clinic uses absorbable threads.

LIVELY Basic Lift

Features spiral cogs that hold the skin in all directions at 360 degrees. Extremely durable, resistant to breakage, and provides a powerful lifting effect and improvement of sagging facial lines, lasting for about 18–24 months.

LIVELY MAX Lift

Characterized by fine and flexible threads with rounded cog tips. The threads dissolve slowly, providing long-term lifting effects, lasting for about 18–24 months.

POINT2

Minimally Invasive Techniques to Reduce Downtime

The downtime of thread lifts is primarily determined by three factors. At LIVELY CLINIC, we pay the utmost attention to these three factors during procedures to minimize downtime.

1
Lifting Strength

The greater the lifting extent, the longer the downtime. Additionally, the design of the procedure can also prolong downtime.
At LIVELY CLINIC, we achieve shorter downtimes by performing procedures with the most efficient lifting techniques and precise designs that reduce downtime.

2
Layer for Anesthesia Injection

Downtime varies significantly depending on the skin layer where anesthesia is injected. Anesthesia is applied to the same layer where the threads are inserted (deep subcutaneous fat layer to the SMAS layer), but if the layer is misjudged, it can result in excessive swelling or pain. Additionally, insufficient anesthesia effect may require larger amounts of injection, leading to further swelling and pain.

3
Layer for Thread Insertion

Downtime also changes depending on the skin layer where the threads are inserted. If threads are inserted into a shallow layer of the skin, it can cause pulling, unnatural results, and prolonged downtime. Conversely, inserting threads too deeply may result in reduced lifting effectiveness.

POINT3

Commitment to Anesthesia for Pain Reduction

We prioritize anesthesia with minimal pain, ensuring a comfortable experience even for those sensitive to discomfort.
At LIVELY CLINIC, we mix a medication called Meylon with the local anesthetic to balance it with the body's pH level, reducing the pain during injection.
Additionally, we use ultra-thin needles and target areas less sensitive to pain, achieving procedures that minimize discomfort as much as possible.

Thread Lift Procedure

The thread lift procedure uses ultra-thin needles with threads attached, which are inserted into the subcutaneous fat layer, leaving only the threads beneath the skin. It is commonly performed on the cheeks and jawline, with threads typically inserted around the temples or ears.
The threads are equipped with small projections called "cogs," which catch onto the subcutaneous tissue and lift the skin. This process helps to reduce sagging and tighten the jawline.
The number of threads used depends on the patient, but typically, 3–6 threads are used on each side, with a total of 6–12 threads.
The entire procedure is relatively quick, typically completed in 15–20 minutes.
After the procedure, patients can immediately return to their daily activities. The immediate effect and convenience make the thread lift a popular option.
