Refining Nasal Base Hollows and Smile Lines for a Smoother Look

This client was concerned about deep nasolabial folds and hollowing beside the nose and wanted to create a more youthful and refined appearance around the mouth. In this case, a total of 3 cc of hyaluronic acid filler was injected into the nasolabial folds and alar base area.

Rather than adding volume only to the nasolabial folds, filler was also placed in the hollow areas around the alar base. This approach was designed to soften the appearance of shadows and uneven contours extending from the sides of the nose toward the mouth. The amount of filler was carefully adjusted according to the depth of each area and the overall facial balance.

Immediately after treatment, the hollows and nasolabial folds appeared less noticeable, creating a smoother and more refined impression around the mouth. The doctor focused on creating a natural transition from the alar base to the nasolabial folds while avoiding excessive volume. Results and recovery may vary between individuals.
